Rule changes

I have to say I disagree with the two submitted rule change proposals. The first one wants: Show management will pay the PSHA per rider fee for all non-PSHA. riders. In my opinion it just takes away revenue from end of year regional show awards -- a big deal on the Olympic Peninsula. The second proposal asks that ALL barrels in a race be the same color. I think our barrel horses should not be afraid to approach a "barrel of a different color." Some arena's have covers over barrels from sponsors (such as Les Schwab), would that mean those would be banned?

State Finals

ATTENTION: ALL PSHA STATE FINALS PARTICIPANTS!!! Believe it or not, State Finals is only eight weeks away. If you are a junior or intermediate who is riding hard to qualify for State, please answer the following questions and email your answers to kathykratzer@msn.com. Some secret pals really know the juniors and their personal interests well, while others would like to get to know them better. Providing the answers to these questions will help everyone become better acquainted.
